Meal plan no. 21

We are starting out the week with Cinco de Mayo so of course we are having a Mexican inspired meal! Kevin likes to eat the mexican steak when we go out to eat and I have been looking for more meals to add to our rotation. I tried these out for the first time a couple of weeks ago but I had bought the wrong cut of meat. Mainly because I don’t know how to pick out steaks. But it was still good! And I’m looking forward to making these again tonight.

Meal Plan no. 19

I’m looking forward to our meals this week, I’ve been trying to make what I eat to be more healthy. Since I’m breastfeeding, it’s so easy to just eat anything and everything I can get my hands on. So I’m trying to make more filling foods to keep me full for longer.

I’m starting to branch out even more and get out of this spaghetti/taco/ground beef rut. I remembered that Kevin and the kids like to eat chili. And also since I’m no longer preggers, I can cook shrimp without feeling sick. Hooray for more variety!

I am slowly moving out of my food rut and am looking forward to some yummy dinners this week!

Meal plan no. 15

I’m not feeling very organized this week meal-wise. Probably because I’m writing this on a Sunday night after a very busy weekend. After running out of ground beef again last week, I have decided to try out buying the majority of the meat we eat at the same time. I usually freeze most of it in smaller meal size portions anyway so I think this would be a good plan!
